Zombies Ate My Headlines (Softcover)5 No Faking It - This Book Is Great Fun!

Sig R... - June 03rd 2009

The Carbolic Smoke Ball Presents: Zombies Ate My Headlines is the funniest, most entertaining book you could ever read. Lead by Rufus Peckham, who must be a former judge at this point (how could the creator of such hilarious satire still be on the bench?), the Carbolic team casts a wide net into the sea of American pop culture and politics. And, like their great website, almost no one, no topic escapes their smart, high-energy lampooning, which is nonstop. This book is a real page-turner if you can take the light-headedness and the pain in your side brought on by all the laughter.

Zombies Ate My Headlines (Softcover)5 Fantastic book!

M. Crane - February 08th 2009

Zombies Ate my Headlines is a fantastic compilation of the greatest news stories from Carbolic Smoke Ball. The book has a large local section, but even those outside of southwestern Pennsylvania will find the entire book hilarious.

If you like the web site, you'll love the book. Slick, smart, very funny stuff. Bravo to the Carbolic Smoke Ballers!

Zombies Ate My Headlines (Softcover)5 Breaking News: Zombies makes you cry harder (from laughter) than (the) onion

R. Vassel - November 23rd 2008

The creators of Carbolic Smoke Ball are the literary equivalent of Stephen Colbert. If you like your news with dollops of satire and gobs of humor, then "Zombies Ate My Headlines" is the book for you. If Albert Camus, Jonathan Swift and the makers of Mad Libs spawned a child... that would be actually quite frightening... but I'm absolutely, positively certain that this "It's Alive"-like offspring would laugh hysterically while reading "Zombies Ate My Headlines". I may be biased because I've been an avid Carbolic Smoke Ball website reader for over a year, so it was a no brainer for me to buy this book... but whether it's your first taste of CSB humor or your 100th, these guys and this book will have you laughing until it hurts.
