Greg went to his first Pirate game in 1970 at the age of 12 and attended the last Bucco game at Three Rivers in 2000 at the ripe age of 42. So this book chronicles incredible memories, especially for a generation of fans who grew to love this edifice. Over the years, Greg has attended close to 700 games at Three Rivers, including a high of 66 Bucco games in 1991. Naturally, he attended several Steeler games as well.

Greg Spalding imitated Willie Stargell's windmill, Clemente's inside-out swing, Davalillo's leg kick, Hebner's jersey-tucking, Sanguillen's free swing and smile and Milt May's raised bat style in his frequent boyhood neighborhood games of homerun derby. Naturally, he also followed the team religiously through the eyes of Bob Prince and Nellie King.
